Ensure safety of all occupants. Call 911 if anyone is injured
Don't sign anything without reading and understanding what you are signing
Being in an accident is a stressful situation, but as long as everybody involved in the accident is safe, there is a solution. Please do not sign anything for anyone other than the police. Some tow trucks at the scene or your insurance company may make you take your car to a specific repair facility, however, IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHERE YOUR CAR IS REPAIRED!

Take photos of everything at the scene that might assist in reporting the collision, including ownership and insurance information.

Move cars to a safe location (if drivable).
Fill out collision data form at the scene. It is the law that the other driver must show their car registration.
Be sure to exchange your driver's license, registration and insurance information with the other party.
It is Ontario law that both parties must share this information. If the other party refuses to give their info, call 911 or 1-888-310-1122 to be connected to the nearest station.

Drive or have your car towed to the closest collision reporting centre. You do not have to visit a reporting centre if the police arrive at the scene to file a collision report. Afterwards drive or have your Car towed to our auto body shops.
Contact your insurance company if you are filing a claim and let them know you want your car repaired at WEINS Collision Repair Centre.
